The Jacksonville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau announced the final pair of Morgan County Marvels for 2025 at their Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on Thursday, May 8.
The program celebrates the people, places and projects that make the Morgan County community extraordinary. From visionaries to craftspeople, this lineup has highlighted the heart of Morgan County.

George and Gina Hamilton | Hamilton’s 110 North East
With a bold vision and deep roots in Jacksonville, George and Gina took on the challenge of restoring the long-vacant John Deere Life building — and turned it into one of Central Illinois’ most sought-after event venues. In just the past year alone, they’ve welcomed over 153,000 guests, supported dozens of small businesses and brought new energy to downtown Jacksonville. Their leadership, investment and belief in what this community can be truly make them Marvels. George and Gina were not on hand, but their son Kyle and their grandson were able to be at the event and accept the award on their behalf.
During the after hours event, the Jacksonville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau also celebrated its 40th anniversary.
