AMBUCS of Jacksonville recently donated an Amtryke to 6-year-old Drue Elledge. Drue is pictured here with her parents, Katie Elledge and Andrew Tardiff. Drue has epilepsy and suffered a stroke in utero, which “caused the right side of her body to be smaller and weaker than her left side,” shared her mom. Drue uses a walker and braces on her legs every day for mobility and stability. This specially chosen hand- and foot-propelled Amtryke will help Drue with strengthening and give her better core support to pedal effectively. Drue chimed in after the donation and said, “Let’s go ride!”
