The annual River Country Quilt Show was recently held July 24-25 at Jacksonville High School.
Highlights of the two-day event included having over 200 crafted, antique quilt bed turnings and demonstrations. Additionally, a silent auction of textile art items, the raffling of a variety of baskets and a quilt raffle for the 2026 event quilt, “Limelight,” were held. Scissor sharpening was also available for the specialty scissors used in quilting.
As one of the largest quilt shows in Central Illinois, the River Country Quilt Show draws hundreds of artists and crafters as well as quilt aficionados and enthusiasts to attend.
