Midwest Youth Services held their 2024 Doll-I-Day event on February 18 at Cured Catering in Jacksonville. The theme was “Pajama Jam” and the ticketed event had a DJ and pajama party; pizza, cupcakes and sweets; hair and nail salon; face painting; a photo booth; a doll hospital; games, crafts and prizes; and cash raffles for American Girl dolls.
Proceeds from the event benefit Midwest Youth Services, a nonprofit United Way agency dedicated to serving at-risk, runaway and homeless youth.
Door prizes were won by Chad Simpson, Aalyah Simpson, Alexis Simpson and Gabby Perez.
Winners of American Girl dolls included Arya Gardner (Makenna doll), Evonie Carmean (Street Chic collection), Hadley Turpin (Nicki doll), Sara Wallis (Corinne doll), Sara Wallis (Street Chic collection), Oakley Johnson (Street Chic blue hair), Olivia Six (Tye-Dye), Eliza Mullens (Lila doll and accessories) andMary-Grace Taylor (Bitty Baby).
